Logitech launches G413 mechanical gaming keyboard at Rs 7,495

Computer accessories manufacturer Logitech expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of a new gaming keyboard. Dubbed G413, the mechanical keyboard features Logitech's exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches. Priced at Rs 7,495, the accessory is "expected to be available across leading retail stores beginning 20th July."

Logitech claims that the Romer-G keys have 25% faster actuation than standard mechanical keys. The G413 has a 5052 aluminium-magnesium alloy top case and an integrated, dedicated USB pass-through. The keyboard also comes with built-in media control so users can use the function keys to control options like volume, playback, game mode and lighting.

Commenting on the launch, Ashok Jangra, Logitech's cluster category head for India & South West Asia said "We spent a lot of time carefully designing and engineering this keyboard to deliver advanced performance with just the right feature set, at the right price point. We created this keyboard with features like USB pass-through, backlit keys and a metal finish. With the G413 we believe we've achieved the perfect balance of high performance features and attractive design."

Last month, Logitech launched its K840 mechanical corded keyboard in India at Rs 6,495. The K840 also features Romer-G mechanical switches and an anodized aluminium body with a textured finish. It comes with a 26-key rollover feature that, according to the company, helps in ensuring that each keystroke is registered accurately.

There are also other advanced features like Windows Lock function that prevents inadvertent press of the Windows key, and easy access to media and shortcut keys that enable users to control entertainment. The full-sized K840 includes a 1.8m cable with built-in strain relief for reinforced durability and tilt legs.
